Each year, the group I work in has a "Holiday Themed Outing." First it was best 'Christmas Sweater.' Last year it was 'Christmas Suit.' This year it was 'Christmas Superhero.' As I'm sure you can guess, I was "Captain Tinsel." Enjoy.

Did some ceiling patch work. Probably one of the least favorite things I've done at the house to date. Very difficult to match. However, thanks to our neighbor Will, we got it pretty close. What a pain...

Tim and Emily had their third child yesterday, December 19, 2007. A daughter - CATHERINE JEAN LEHMAN - going by "Kate". She was born @ 1:15 PM, and was 9 lbs 3 oz , 21 inches long. Mom, Dad and baby are all well.

Allyson, Dad and I headed out to Illinois to see the rest of the Fam. We spent the first several days we spent at Tim and Emily's. While there, we visited the John Deere Pavillion and Headquarters. Then we stopped at Mom & Doug's for a day in which we got to visit with Kaye, Matt, Nikki and Baby Camryn. We then headed to Downtown Chi-town for some Christmas Trees and Starbucks :)

THANKS DAD !! Dad came up and lended us lots of physical help, but moreso his lawn-care knowledge and attention to detail. The first weekend we re-seeded a section of the front lawn that had originally grown in with Crabgrass. A couple weekends later, we tilled, leveled, tilled, leveled, tilled, leveled, seeded, raked 80% of our back yard. Grass is coming in and it looks like we'll have a backyard full of grass in the Spring !!

Headed west to get Mom hooked up with some technology for the REALTOR business. Things didn't go smoothly, but sometimes with technology that's just the way it is. We went into the city to Navy Pier for a speed boat ride as well as Millenium Park to see "The Bean" and had a picnic at the Pristker (sp?) Auditorium. This was followed by some chaotic jazz ... :)

Flew down to Ft. Myers, FL to visit Brad, Kathy, Bobby, Grandma & Grandpa. Mike and Mary were very generous and let Tim's Family, Allyson and I stay at their villa in Naples. The weather didn't cooperate as we'd hoped, but we still had a blast. Got some good stories out of the old folks, too.
